For those traveling by air
Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) is the closest and most convenient airport to the wedding venue.  There are numerous direct flights to SBA daily from Los Angeles and San Francisco as well as Denver. A 15-minute (13-mile) car or taxi ride will get you from SBA to El Capitan Canyon Resort.  The Resort provides a shuttle service from SBA and the train station at an additional fee. If you would like to use their services please call El Capitan Canyon Resort directly (1-805-685-3887)

Flying into LAX may be a more flexible and likely cheaper alternative to SBA, and if you plan on arriving early on Thursday or Friday this may be the best option. Although LAX is roughly 90 miles south of El Capitan Canyon Resort, a Friday afternoon drive from LAX to Santa Barbara could take up to three hours or more whereas a Sunday morning drive to LAX would probably take less than 2 hours.
